Buy Dorset hosts its first networking event for the Poole members

Buy Dorset (a non profit making company created to encourage the local economy) hosted its first networking event for the Poole group of members.
More than 50 members turned out for the event at The Hotel Du Vin.
Tobias Ellwood MP was on hand to answer any questions from business owners relating to the new government and to pledge his support to Buy Dorset and stated “Buy Dorset is a new and exciting initiative which is gathering momentum across the county in encouraging mutual support and promotion for businesses of all sizes. It was a pleasure to speak at the Poole event and add my support to this great networking concept.”
Membership to Buy Dorset is free and gives Dorset Business owners the chance to network, make new contacts and market their products; encouraging members to buy locally – directly benefiting the Dorset economy.
Malcolm Scott Walby said “Thanks to Hotel Du Vin and all their support. This was great event. Many members fully back the whole campaign. We can now take this initiative on to the next stage with such a highly successful event behind us.”
